Resumo: | In this thesis an analysis of Nietzsche's critique of morality of compassion advocated by Schopenhauer is performed. We begin our work ascertaining the moral reasoning given by Schopenhauer, which has compassion as the source of all morality. Nietzsche criticized Schopenhauer directly, regarding the evaluation of the latter proposed moral values. In the second chapter of the vantage points was to analyze, through the genealogical method of Nietzsche, how the valuation of compassion arose. We also analyze how Nietzsche evaluates this moral. In this context, we ascertain the hypothesis of compassion as a symptom of nihilism and its relationship to the ascetic ideal advocated by Schopenhauer. Finally, the last chapter we investigate the ways in which Nietzsche proposes overcoming compassion during his "mature work". We begin with the book Thus Spoke Zarathustra and go through the arguments of the philosopher until 1888. |
