Resumo: |
The work was carried out during 2009/2010 crop year, in God's Farm, owned by Agropastoril Jotabasso Ltd., located in the Rondonópolis city, MT with the objective to evaluate the effect of high temperature on soybean seeds in a intermitent dryer. It was used temperatures of 120° C, 100° C and 80° C in a Kepler Weber dryer brand 40 KW with capacity of 40 tons/hour, with soybean seeds cultivar M7211RR. The seed moisture input into the dryer was 17.4% and in the range 11-12% at the end of drying. Every 40 minutes, corresponding to one full turn of the dryer seeds, up to 240 minutes, it was determined the mass temperature, seed moisture, mechanical damage, germination and vigor. It was conclude that It is possible to dry soybean seed with intermittent dryer using drying air temperature of 80°C. |
