Resumo: | This study had the objective of analyzing the National Program of Access to Technical Education and Employment (Pronatec) developed by the João Pessoa Campus of the Federal Institute of Paraíba, focusing on professional training actions aimed at adolescents under deprivation of liberty of the Women's Education House from 2012 to 2014. Our objective was to verify the execution and follow-up of Pronatec’s actions based on the narrative of the IFPB managers with regard to resocialization processes. More specifically, it was sought to verify the possible interventions developed by the program that would enable, in a certain way, the insertion of adolescents in the labor market. The relevance of this dissertation is due to the fact that it brings a reflection on the social question of the reclusive adolescents and the role of the institutions of superior education as mediators of programs considered of social and educational inclusion. It was a qualitative research. Data collection was done through bibliographical and documentary research and semi-structured interviews applied to three (3) managers of the Institute. To interpret the results, we used the technique of content analysis. After the interpretations, it was noticed in the interviewees' view, the non-existence in the IFPB of a policy aimed at the use of the teenager deprived of freedom after training by Pronatec to the world of work in João Pessoa. In this sense, there was the challenge of proposing actions that contribute to this effectiveness. The aim of this work is to highlight the importance of initiatives and greater effectiveness of the public policies of attention to subjects in situations of social vulnerability that make possible the effective exercise of citizenship. |
