Resumo: | Search for new oil wells or optimization of oil recovery is recurrent, implying the necessity for drilling in places where there already been production. These places, called depleted zones, can lead in common problems that may make it impossible to continue drilling, such as pressure differential column arrest. To avoid this problem, a lubricate addictive is added to water-based drilling fluids, which has the function of increasing the well stability, increasing the drilling rate, increasing the useful life of drills, and others. This work aims to develop and evaluate the use of microemulsions as a water-based drilling fluid lubricant addictive, characterizing the microemulsions, the drilling fluid reproduced and evaluated the efficiency of fluid additives with the microemulsion in different concentrations. The characterization of the microemulsions and the fluid presented satisfactory results, within the standards found in the literature. In the analyzes of lubricity and column arrest, the developed microemulsions were efficient as a lubricant additive for the drilling fluid, improving in more than 20% the lubricity of the fluid. The lubricant developed in this work is protected by patent number BR1021700598, from the Instituto Nacional de Propriedade Industrial (INPI). |
