Resumo: | The discussions related to sexual education in the scholar spaces, came out in the beginning of the century XX and only in the decade of 80 became urgent, having observed the high pregnancy rates in the adolescence and increase in the number of cases of contamination by the HIV in the country. Facing this chart, the Education and Culture Ministry reassure the short relation of causes and effects in the public policies in the sexuality, education and health area, and considers vital the return of the Sexual Education in the schools. The process of elaboration of the National Curriculum parameters was begun in 1995/96, focused to the basic, fundamental and secondary cycles which propose the transversal inclusion in the thematic sexual orientation in all the subjects. It was aimed to analyze under the view of the educators/managers of the public primary schools of the city of Cajazeiras PB, as the theme sexual orientation has been incorporated in the pedagogical practices. It is a qualitative nature study which used the Focal Group and the semi-structured interview with twenty-three 23 educators and eight 8 managers respectively. The empiric material obtained was analyzed according to the Technique of analysis of content, thematic modality, which culminated in the following themes: the look of the managers: the official speech versus pedagogic quotidian ; The dialogicity between values and professional practices ; The (dis)function school/family in the pedagogic making . The study highlighted that there is a commitment of the managers towards the insertion of the sexual orientation in the school context, though the actions are still implemented in a insufficient manner; the educators sign lack o preparation when they face situations which demands a proclamation about the manifestations of the students about sexuality; The culture of the sexuality predominates, as factor of human reproduction and social risk; the school has a secondary role in the approach of questions which involve the sexuality, adopting postures of omission and/or not responsibleness by the demandings which are presented in the school environment; the insufficient participation of the family and inexistence of dialogical practice between school/family institutions favors a unilateral look of the problematic of the sexuality, generating conflicts of values. It is suggested an investment in strategies which possibility an approximation between family/student/school/educator, strengthening the potential generator of formation/ information, consolidating in fact in an operational proposal. It is recommended continuous formation of the educators aiming paradigmatic changes related to sexuality, involving other fields of knowledge such as health, sociology, anthropology and history; that the same be realized in an extensive/inclusive manner and that favor the development of ethic citizens and aware of their human rights. |
