Resumo: | Work occupies a large part of the workers' daily lives and can be a source of satisfaction, stress or bring suffering to individuals, or just be judged as an obligation or source of subsistence. However, it can be converted into means of satisfaction, so that obligations become something pleasant. Therefore, Quality of Life at Work – QLW hasan important role in the perception of the level of professionals’ satisfaction. In this sense, this dissertation addresses these two themes in order to assess the factors of QWL according to the perception of the teachers of the Federal Institute of Education, understanding how this relationship with a professional. To achieve this objective, the qualitative and quantitative research was used for a sample of 183 respondents, data were collected through the application of two questionnaires, one on a QWL, with 31 variations and the other on job satisfaction with 25 variables. As answers to the items in these questionnaires, they were expressed using the Likert scale of statements (1: “I totally disagree” in 5: “I totally agree”) without a QWL questionnaire, and in EST (1- “I am totally dissatisfied” in 5 “I am totally satisfied”) Data analysis techniques based on descriptive analysis, factor analysis and correlation analysis using the Spearman Correlation Test. Based on the Factor Analysis, it was found, around QVT, that the professors of the Federal Institute of Paraíba, Campus I, perceive in their great majority that the dimensions evaluated are satisfactory, except the Communication dimension that expressed a high percentage of disagreement resulting in discontent of these professionals in relation to the effectiveness of the communication circulation on the Campus. Regarding Job Satisfaction, the levels of satisfaction in the proposed dimensions were high, except for two variables of the Satisfaction with Promotions dimension. Most of the teachers, in this dimension, did not show satisfaction with the questions related to the number of times they were promoted and the way in which the Institute promotes these professionals. From the Spearman's correlation test, it was possible to verify that all dimensions of the model were adopted for Quality of life at work, but a link with professional satisfaction of these documents, visualizing the significance and magnitude of the correlation coefficients. A strong correlation was recorded between the dimensions Fair and Adequate Compensation (QWL) and Satisfaction with Salary (SS), further reforming the similarity between these rates, and the question that a temporary assessment is necessary for those who practice their work. |
