Resumo: | The Sustainable Management of Human Resources (GSRH) deals with the effective implementation of Sustainability practices in the culture of an organization through the people who compose it. This dissertation has as its main objective to identify the relationship of the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) with the practices of sustainable management of human resources, which is broken down into three specific objectives for its achievement, namely, to identify the sustainability practices adopted in the Federal University of Campina Grande, examine the sustainable human resource management actions adopted by the University of São Paulo (USP), based on the people management subsystems, and; propose a model for evaluating sustainable practices aimed at people management at the Federal University of Campina Grande. As for the methodology, the present research has an exploratory-descriptive character, with a qualitative approach, through the use of documents and bibliographies as technical tools, where the data obtained from the UFCG analysis were applied in the evaluation model of sustainable practices, which was developed by applying Bardin's content analysis method to GSRH data from USP. In the results, it was possible to denote that the UFCG, despite foreseeing the issue of sustainability in its institutional vision, has a negligible application of sustainable management practices of human resources in its main campus, highlighting, in this way, a great barrier to the concrete application of the DS in their activities. In this way, the present study made it possible to identify a large gap in the role of the Federal University of Campina Grande in its social context, also providing an evaluation instrument that allows the university to identify and adjust the necessary measures for the effective implementation of sustainability in its activities |
