Resumo: This research was developed with the purpose of creating an audiovisual proposal of storytelling for deaf children, with accessibility for listeners in order to provide a common programming for both audiences. This pilot program aims to produce a video that will continue to a TV series of tales of the Northeastern oral literature for children. Here we describe how was the creative process for the production of this pilot, from the choice of narrated history, the construction of the literary script, design the scenery and costumes, the composition of the soundtrack, art illustrations, selecting the deaf presenter, the tests and the recordings until the editing of the final product. Thus, it was chosen as a way to research this unique scientific work, applied research, qualitative, exploratory and as a procedure, the aesthetic analysis of a similar nature videos, the final product presented in this report. The visual aesthetics of the program was based on the observation of the culture of the deaf, the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras) and technical elements of the television media. The result of this work: a produced pilot program, as entertainment proposal for the deaf community, will be presented as a model of producing a comprehensive program with popular narratives for children and youth, as part of the program of educational TV Federal University of Paraíba, seeking to meet a social demand for deaf viewers. While bilingual storytelling program for deaf and hearing children, the tale of oral literature chosen will be narrated simultaneously through Libras and Portuguese. As a model of audiovisual, new product on Brazilian television, could serve as a creative lever for other audiovisual productions for the public of deaf children, encouraging other managers of Brazilian public TVs, to accept this challenge. The survey revealed that accessibility in Brazilian television for deaf people, still is under construction, the search for a cultural identity that is born from the reinterpretation of international standards and that this search should be constantly evaluated for consolidation a national aesthetics.
