Environmental education is a complex for educators and society at large challenge, because it implies a process of continuous transformation in thinking, and especially the act of individuals . Seeks to overcome the fragmentation as addressing the issues that contribute to and/or produce the degradation of the environment. This educational process has the potential to articulate the webs that govern the community, providing answers consistent with reality, in other words, to the actual needs of the population, predominantly rational thought as to natural resources. This study aims to examine the perceptions and conceptions of the participants Programa Projovem Adolescente Borborema -PB on Environmental Education, discussing concepts, youth participation, new tools such as Educomunication, and the specifics of the program . The survey was conducted with 18 adolescents, aged 15-17 years, and the majority beneficiaries of the Programa Social Bolsa Familia. O Programa Projovem Adolescente is linked to Social Assistance, being developed at the Centro de Referência de Assistência Social, institution that assists individuals and families in a situation of vulnerability and social risk. The research took place between the months of July to December 2012. The type chosen was qualitative research using the phenomenological method, making use if the participant observation and the use of questionnaires to collect data. A pre - test and a post teste with 18 adolescents were, and whether they conducted educational workshops, an awareness campaign and exhibition closing with the productions made by participants Programa Projovem Adolescente during the workshops. The assessment of the data was taken from the content analysis, to the categorization of responses. Upon completion of the data analysis and the activities it was noted that the teens surveyed were sensitized regarding the Environmental Education and the Environment. And were protagonists of the proposed actions, turning into possible multipliers of Environmental Education. Awakening to the need to develop more educational actions cooptem the participation not only of youth but of all citizens.
