A permanência estudantil na Universidade Federal da Paraíba: proposição de um plano para o apoio pedagógico

Resumo: This work aimed to group devices for pedagogical support to the student, in a model of organization and implementation of actions that assist him in academic activities for his permanence, while evidencing the fragility in the coverage of this area, although inherent to the Program. National Student Assistance Program (PNAES). It has been shown that federal universities still need to overcome significant avenues of assistance that do not focus solely on income or benefit transfer. Through the specific objectives we tried to discuss about the policies of in/exclusion, based on theorists that point out the denaturalizing character of this process; to track the actions offered by the federal universities regarding student permanence, by searching the E-Mec Registry and finding 55 institutions with satisfactory institutional concept by SINAES, which were searched for elements that would indicate forms of pedagogical support to the student; and, it was also intended to point out propositions of a plan for pedagogical support in support of student permanence, after a preliminary analysis of the information available on the websites of the institutions, suggesting as possibilities of coverage the “tutorial education”, “workshops and short courses”, “Knowledge of professional reality” and “study orientation”, as a broad model of student access to distinct and complementary activities. It is believed that the notes can substantiate the university management of the Federal University of Paraíba in forms of services that reach students in their most general needs, supported either by reinforcing the content, teaching learning strategies or supporting intrinsic factors. student.
