Resumo: | This work focuses on the teaching of the Orality Axis in the final years of Elementary School in the Portuguese Language curricular component from the BNCC (BRASIL, 2017), as well as theoretical references of this research, are the concepts of fundamental ethical principles of the teaching of orality , teachable dimensions, democratic teaching, sociolinguistics teaching perspective, oral genres as a social practice and concepts such as speech brought by Carvalho and Ferrarezi Jr. (2018), Dolz and Schneuwly (2004), Ferrarezi Jr. (2014), Marcuschi (2005, 2008, 2010), Bortoni-Ricardo (2021), Ilari (2014), Coelho (2020), BNCC (BRASIL, 2017) and the PCN (BRASIL, 1997, 1998) with the purpose of to unveil all the assertions exposed in the research, seeking to understand how Portuguese Language teachers in the final years of elementary school in the municipality of Pilar-PB, implement their practices in relation to this axis. Based on this survey, the main objective of this research is to contribute for the training of these teachers regarding the teaching of orality, presenting strategies that can be inserted into the day to day of the classroom so that, in this way, the responsibility that the school has to foster in the student skills related to orality is reinforced. To reach this municipality, some questions were made available to teachers of the final years of Elementary School of LP in the municipality of Pilar - PB through an online questionnaire. Based on the data obtained, a continuing education course is proposed for these teachers, using action research as a methodology, in order to: proposal for continuing education, with new possibilities for understanding the Orality Axis in general and what the BNCC says, so that, consequently, they can re-signify their teaching practices. And, specifically, discuss the theoretical and methodological aspects of orality teaching present in texts by specialist theorists in the area, as well as in the BNCC (2017) and the PCN (1998); to identify the oral textual genres that are more privileged in the final years of Elementary School by Portuguese Language teachers in the municipality of Pilar-PB in their practices; reflect on the importance of working with orality for a more democratic teaching; to observe whether oral textual genres are approached in a systematic way or not by teachers of Portuguese Language in the final years of Elementary School and to propose a continuing education course that contributes to the improvement of the teaching practice of Portuguese Language teachers in the final years of Elementary School of the municipality of Pilar-PB with regard to the orality axis. |
