Resumo: This paper aims to analyze as it is the process of inclusion of disabled pupils in BasicEducationSchool - UFPB; identify which conceptions of the coordinators and teachers of the institution on the inclusion of persons with disabilities in regular schools and what methods they employto promote the learning of students with disabilities.The research, qualitative, began to study literature on the subject of inclusion, seeking to recall the historical - of Special Education to Inclusive Education - as well as identifying public educational policies, standards and the laws governing quality educationfor all, and its applicability in regular schools, promoting the inclusion of students with disabilities.It presumes that a child with disabilities is an integral part of society and has skills to be developed.Was possible to detect the resistance and the struggle of teachers to develop a proposal for inclusive practices and initiatives for the awakening of the educational practices of inclusion, to promote cognitive development, social and emotional development of students with disabilities.
