Resumo: | Due to the reality of the countless cases related to occupational diseases and accidents (with physical or fatal damages) in the work environment, the need for a more responsible posture on the part of the organizations and a greater importance to be given in relation to working conditions comes to the fore. work and worker safety. On the other hand, another point perceived by organizations is the Quality of life of workers (QWL), an interdisciplinary concept that focuses on meeting the needs, professional satisfaction and the well-being of the worker in the work environment, which has become a theme increasingly requested and strategic to achieve transformations and improvements in the work environment. In this context, with the importance of studying these two themes simultaneously, the objective of this dissertation is to assess the influence of Workplace Safety practices and QWL in an injected thermoplastic industry. The research is classified as applied, with a qualitative and quantitative approach, with an exploratory objective, using bibliographic, documentary and field means. Observation checklists and questionnaires for employees were applied. In these, 19 assertions related to QWL were addressed, covering 08 dimensions and involving the Walton model; and 20 assertions related to Regulatory Standards that are relevant to the sector. Software such as SPSS Statistics 22.0 was used to prepare statistical tests, factor and descriptive analyzes and Excel 2013. It was identified that the company uses presents positive practices that reflect the safe and healthy environment for its employees from the points observed in the Observational Roadmap. This can be confirmed in the first part of the results, the Descriptive Analysis, which showed, regarding: Work Safety, that only one (S11 - Presence of monotonous and repetitive activities and presence of inadequate posture), of the 19 variables showed negative perception; and as for QWL, which also, only one (Q10 - Existence of job and career plans and salaries), of the 20 variables had a negative perception for workers. Finally, after performing the Factor Analysis, using the Callegari-Jacques table (2007), it was noticed that the study presented weak and intermediate correlations. And using the Spearmann test, it was concluded that all ST factors had some influence on the QLW factors. It is also concluded that the factor 03 of ST (Sanitary and comfort conditions) influenced factors 1 (Social relevance of the organization / work in the worker's perception), 3 (Workload and Social Life) and 4 (Health and Safety) of Labor) of QVT. It was also possible to notice that factor 04 of QWL, which deals with Occupational Health and Safety, was influenced by the following factors: 1 - Occupational Safety against risks of accidents, 3 - Sanitary and comfort conditions and 4 - Use of Protective Equipment Individual, Labor Safety. And that factor 02 (Policy related to positions and careers) of QVT was the only one that was not influenced by any factor of Work Safety. |
