Resumo: | This approach describes the development of a flow control system for absorption refrigeration units with the pair lithium bromide-water. This system will include refrigeration units that operate at negative pressure, where the measurement of flow by intrusive methods is not tolerated and the recirculation is promoted by low-power single-phase pumps, which require unconventional methods for shift rotations. For that, was achieved through theoretical and informational researches, a testing bench reproducing the conditions required for the flow of saline water-lithium bromide. The same was properly instrumented for monitoring and intervention devices, whose correct adjustment and configuration were observed according to the achievement of preliminary testing of the water. The interaction with the testing bench took place with the aid of a previous virtual instrument control, implemented in the graphical language LabVIEW (Laboratory Virtual Instrument Engineering Workbench), evidencing the communication and management of the devices mentioned. Then was implemented in the same language, a system of closed-loop control, with PID controller (Proportional-Integral-Derivative), whose first evaluation occurred by testing with water, which allowed attest to the flow control and become familiar with methods of tuning. After appropriate precautions, tests were conducted with the solution water-lithium bromide, from which was conducted the adaptations that culminated in the success of this approach. |
