Resumo: | This text aims to study the narratives of subjects who sought spiritual treatment at the Casa Espírita Nosso Lar (CENL), as part of their therapeutic itineraries to enable socioanthropological reflections on spirituality and health. When conducting this research, observation and application of virtual interviews with patients from the Spiritist House Our Home, located in the city of João Pessoa - Paraíba, were used as a methodological resource. In order to make it possible to understand the rhetoric that involves the experience of falling ill and recovering the health of the subjects who undergo spiritual treatment at CENL, this study also uses as a reference the study of works of the Spiritist literature and the monitoring of Spiritist lectures available online. Through this research it is possible to think about the experience of the disease and therapeutic practices of subjects who have sought spiritualism as a healing system. In order to complete the treatment of these patients who conceive the need for treatment (s) that reestablishes health, considering a tripartite concept of person as interrelated body, mind and spirit. |
