A gestão na composição curricular dos cursos de graduação em Biblioteconomia no Brasil: a contribuição do diálogo interdisciplinar entre a Ciência da Informação e a Ciência da Administração

Resumo: Information Science is an interdisciplinary area with several other areas of knowledge, including Administration Science and Library Science. It was guided by such interdisciplinary relations of Information Science with the mentioned areas, that the present study was contextualized, presenting an approach about the curricular composition of the course of Librarianship focused on the area of management. In this sense, the research aimed to analyze the contributions of the management area to the curricular formation of undergraduate courses in Library Science in Brazil as a result of the interdisciplinarity between CI and CA. As for the methodology, the research was characterized as having a quantitative and qualitative approach and a documentary type study carried out in the web environment. The documents in electronic format that served for the analysis, corresponded to the Curricular Pedagogical Projects, curricular matrices and / or ementiaries of the undergraduate courses in Library Science in Brazil. Theoretical dimensions were the reflection on the curricula of Librarianship courses through content analysis. The work pointed out the Brazilian public universities that offer Librarianship courses based on their national distribution, recovered and examined the curricular components of such courses, presented the disciplines with approaches related to the management area, analyzed the contents of these disciplines through their menus and, finally, presented a national overview of basic and emerging disciplines in the area of management for the Librarianship course. Based on the results obtained, it was possible to verify that there are significant approaches in the contents about management in the curricula of Librarianship courses at national level and that such quantity expresses the constant evolution of interdisciplinary studies between Librarianship, Information Science and Administration Science. This reality also allowed to present the contributions of the Administration area for the curricular formation of the courses of Librarianship, as a result of the interdisciplinarity between the areas.
