Resumo: | This thesis aimed to analyze educators teaching practices of Domestic Rural Economy Course CAVN in Bananeiras/PB (1960-1970). The contribution of the New Cultural History enables the development of studies like this one, since it gave importance to the new inquiry‟s object, to bring up the individual‟s voice, that were before renegades by Traditional History. As methodological elements used the oral history and memory as historiographical sources, this memory was also evidenced in other sources as: attendance class, work plan, books and photographs. Teaching practices and gender relations are categories that guided the teacher‟s practices of the Domestic Rural Economy Course, without go through the spaces in which occurred gender‟s relations and their representations. Analyze their practices, made me understand one part of the Educational History of Bananeiras city, branded by the existence of schools, school practices, with features by the cultural school‟s epoch, impregnated by gender issues that defined spaces and appropriate attitudes for men and women in such context. Beyond that, it allowed to recognize and reframe the history of the Vidal de Negreiros Agricultural School, from the snippet temporal used in this study. Thus, this study contributes with the State of Art that is being developed in Education‟s History, concerning the teaching practices of the Educators of Paraíba, particularly for those who worked in that course, recording their stories from their memories, and collaborating for writing the history of the local education. |
