Ambientalização curricular no ensino de Ciências: um olhar para os livros didáticos dos anos iniciais do ensino fundamental

Resumo: | Curricular environmentalization is the insertion of the environmental dimension in the construction and implementation of school curricula, in the search for a better relationship between society and nature. The research is constituted through the debate of the conceptual and thematic field, having as general objective to analyze the insertion of the environmental dimension present in the Science textbooks of the initial years of fundamental education so that they can contribute to envision the environmentalization of the curriculum. Thus, the study methodologically corresponds to a qualitative approach, using documentary research in which data analysis was carried out through content analysis, thus following the stage of preanalysis, material exploration and treatment of results. The results obtained through the analyzes indicated that the textbooks mention different environmental contents, among them: characteristics of the environment in its natural and social aspects; environmental problems; consumption and consumerism; and sustainable development. In addition, it verified the use of several methodological proposals to work with the contents both in the classroom and in the community in which the school is located. Thus, the study on screen makes an important contribution to academic production, structuring proposals to environmentalize the curriculum of school institutions, as well as to the pedagogical planning of educators who use science textbooks in their classes. |
