Resumo: | The present work aims to investigate the use of representation as a discursive strategy for the construction of an ethos - an image of oneself created from the discourse itself, on the threshold of fiction and non-fiction narratives, where we seek the possible correlations of the activity theater to the practice of journalism. The product resulting from this research, formatted as a profile documentary film, has as its protagonists the renowned journalists from Paraíba Edilane Araújo, Danielle Huebra and Sílvia Torres who talk about their incursions in the theater and the synchronicities that led them from the stage to television news. In methodological terms, the work finds its development through narrative layers anchored by in-depth interviews, which intersect and announce reflections on memory, affections and crises, the importance of academia and the production of knowledge in the instances of theater and from Paraíba journalism. Under the theoretical floor we highlight authors such as Patrick Charadeau (2013), Pierre Bourdieu (1997) and Margot Berthold (2004). In conclusion, we envision that, in view of the memorialistic composition, the profiles are revealed in essence, when revisiting the tracks of a self-past stilled on the stage and equidistant from a self-present in the visible screens. |
