Resumo: Despite society's progress in the struggle for equal rights for people with visual impairment, to this day, these individuals face discrimination, general negligence and countless obstacles to the effective enjoyment of rights and the exercise of citizenship, bringing physical, mental, emotional and atrocious spiritual things for their lives. The way blind people face all the daily vicissitudes is directly linked to the state of well-being and quality of life. That said, and from the understanding that the human being is constituted in a multidimensional way and that integral health is established by the harmony between its various dimensions - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual - the aim of this study was to analyze the impacts and possible benefits of the practice of yoga, from the perception of the blind person, in view of the fact that yoga reveals itself as a therapeutic tool that acts in the entirety of the being. It was, therefore, a qualitative research that carried out a semi-structured interview with a person with visual impairment - a regular yoga practitioner - to obtain reports of their experience with the activity. The results presented indicated that, effectively, yoga promotes benefits for the integral health of the person with visual impairment, above all, acting on the development of self-knowledge, stress control, flexibility and body awareness, as well as establishing connections with spiritual aspects of human existence, generating well-being and quality of life. From the results found, assumptions were established that could serve as a starting point for future research in the area of comprehensive health promotion of the subjects of the research.
