Resumo: | The National Student Assistance Plan - PNAES, instituted in 2010, arises with the purpose of extending the permanence conditions of students who fall under conditions of social economic vulnerability and join the Federal Institutes of Education. This study aims to analyze the contributions and impasse for the permanence and success of the undergraduate student of Pedagogy at UFPB from the viewpoint of students who entered through the system of quotas established by the law nº 12.771/2012 and are benefited by the National Student Assistance Plan - PNAES. This work follows the qualitative approach, with a descriptive and explanatory perspective based on bibliographic, documentary and exploratory research procedures. To reach the goal, a semi-structured questionnaire was applied and we obtained a response from 117 students enrolled in the 4th semester onwards in different shifts, considering that they already went through the most critical phase in relation to dropout in the course. The analysis of the generated data occurred through content analysis, in its different phases, which are: pre analysis, material exploitation, treatment of the results and interpretation (BARDIN, 2011). Our findings show that students highlight the importance of improving the aid offered by Dean of Student Assistance - PRAPE to enable their stay in the Pedagogy degree, especially about food, and highlight as difficulties the bureaucracy and lack of communication as aspects that need improvement. In the end, a chatbot prototype is presented as a product - a virtual assistant created with the purpose of providing students with information about the various aids offered by PRAPE, including information about the selective processes (Public Notice), criteria, documentation and deadlines. This initiative aims to lower the difficulties presented by students regarding the knowledge and dissemination of selection information in order to grant student aids within the university. |
