Resumo: | The sugarcane crop is one of the biggest agricultural productions in Brazil. A particularity of the harvest process is that the entire aerial part of the plant crop is extracted at once which demands the high use of nitrogen fertilizers. This way, a common practice is to increase nitrogen fixing capacity with the use of bacterias such as the Azospirillum. brasiliense from inoculation. The objective of this work is to evaluate the effect of inoculation with Azospirillum associated to different doses of nitrogen and algae fertilizer on crop yield factors. The experiment was carried out in the Experimental Farm Chã de Jardim, CCA/UFPB, Areia-PB, during one year in the sugarcane plant stage. The design of the experiment was randomized blocks with four replications and seven treatments, which were: control, inoculation, inoculation plus 50% N, fertilization with 100% N, inoculation plus algae fertilizer, algae fertilizer plus 50% N and inoculation plus algae fertilizer plus 50% N. The planting was carried out at the density of twelve buds per meter with a spacing of 1.20 m between furrows. The inoculation was carried out in the furrow. The topdressing fertilizations with nitrogen were performed in two stages in topdressing. The variety used was RB041443, total leaf nitrogen, leaf calcium, chlorophyll, soluble solids, stem diameter and tons of sugarcane per hectare were evaluated. Data were processed by R software, submitted to analysis of variance and Tukey test. As a result, there was no influence of treatments on the variables analyzed, except for stem diameter, total nitrogen and leaf calcium, which despite the statistical difference did not influence sugarcane yield. The inoculation with Azospirillum brasiliense did not influence the productivity of the sugarcane variety RB041443. The application of algae fertilizer based on Lithothamnium did not influence the action of bacteria in order to improve productivity |
