Resumo: | The main objective of this research was to understand the development of yoga practices in the current context in which we live, analyzing the scenario in which it is applied remotely, as well as its therapeutic effects linked to Integrative and Complementary Practices recognized through the Unified Health System (SUS), in the area of knowledge of the Sciences of Religions. The method used to carry out this research was interviewing, conducted remotely, under the qualitative scope, with the highest percentage being answered by women, seeking to collect information inherent to the proposed theme and thus analyze the field in all its variations. Namely, as the object to be studied is yoga and more specifically its practices at the health promotion level, we also sought to understand how the users of this millennial practice treat not only the physical illness, but also the illness arising from the abstract self, that is, the deeper and more holistic interaction of the individual and, above all, the knowledge of oneself, internalizing the philosophies and concepts adopted by the yogis who pass this practice on to the patient. Finally, it is concluded, through the interviews, that the practice of yoga becomes a useful tool in the relationship of self-care, being noteworthy in the interaction with spirituality and strengthening the needs of being someone better in the world, as well as helping in the recovery and prevention of physical, cognitive, spiritual and emotional illnesses, as well as this activity during the pandemic context, which culminated in anxiety attacks, panic attacks, poor physical performance and constant fears of the future, helped emotional management and performance showing increasing accesion and positive effects on practitioners. The first chapter turns to the literature about the relationship of yoga with the PICS, acting on the conceptions about the maintenance of self-care and self knowledge, as well as the health-disease process with spirituality. The second chapter reports the experiences acquired in the field, the impact of the pandemic on research progress and the methodology used to compose the work. Finally, the third chapter is characterized by the results obtained through interviews carried out through exposure on social networks such as: whatsapp, instagram and youtube. |
