Since Santo Forte (1999), Eduardo Coutinho's films present one thing in common: the idea of promoting, through the meeting between the director and character, a filmic event. That event which is expressed in bodies and images from devices and cinematographic apparatuses used and, mainly, from the sensitive listening of the filmmaker, who prefers to impose a spontaneous, direct and intimate dialogue. What matters in that style is a represented truth, a ephemeral truth that is in the meeting between filmmaker and character, storied from the Eduardo Coutinho s interventions on the characters speech. Is visualized, therefore, how the respondents present the poetic universes and the fable in expressions and gestures, in a discourse of the body represented. Thus, the objective of this work is to analyze how the sensitive listening of the director drives the performance in Jogo de Cena (2007) and how the respondents participating in the creative construction process proposed by the filmmaker in question.
