Resumo: |
The reflections on the teaching of Brazilian Literature have caused numerous concerns on the part of educators, while cross-cutting themes have gained space, especially regarding issues related to nature and the environment. In a scenario of innumerable changes, we identified the need to develop teaching strategies that facilitate the understanding of the social and environmental issues surrounding the planet. This study investigated the possibilities of articulating the teaching of Brazilian Literature in transversality with the concepts of nature and environment, important for the development of actions in the field of Environmental Education. In the study design, the following research problem was realized: how can the literary text constitute a teaching strategy to address the concepts of nature and environment, while at the same time sensitizing students about environmental issues? To this end, it was proposed as a general objective to investigate the contributions of the work Água Viva, by Clarice Lispector (1998), applied as a strategy in the transversality of the teaching of Brazilian Literature. The theoretical framework of the study includes authors such as Leff (2001), Morin (2002), Capra (2003), Green (2005), Sauvé (2005), Sánchez (2006), Meyer (2008), Candido (2008), Bosi (2012), Carvalho (2012), Nussbaum (2015), Coutinho (2017), among others. The study is qualitative and is characterized as an action research. The participants were 26 students from two high school classes, from a public school in Nova Esperança do Sul, RS. The pedagogical interventions had as planning an Interactive Didactic Sequence (SDI), based on the Hermeneutic-Dialectic Circle (CHD), from the perspective of Oliveira (2012). The main activities are related to the selection of excerpts and rereading of the selected work, elaboration of the concepts of nature and environment, construction of ecological mandalas, elaboration of a literary clothesline with exposition of poems written by the students. The material was analyzed using the technique of Content Analysis (BARDIN, 2015) articulated with the steps of action research. The results are presented in 4 articles / manuscripts in which the following findings were obtained: in article 1 the students' previous conceptions of nature and environment are described and the possibilities of entering the paths of transversality in the teaching of literature are described; Article 2 presents how students' conceptions of nature and environment have evolved, reaching the subject nature conception and the more integral conception of the environment, while Article 3 reports the development of SDI, following the CHD and construction of Ecological Mandalas (ME) as innovative teaching methodologies, integrating classroom activities and socio-environmental actions in the school yard; Finally, article 4 can be understood as an integrative synthesis of the study in which 3 of the 26 poems written by the students are analyzed, based on the rereading of Água Viva and that were exposed in the literary clothesline. It is concluded that the literary text proved to be efficient as a motivational resource to approach the literature on the transversality of the issues that guide Environmental Education. |
