Resumo: |
Education is characterized as the main interface between reality and individuals, but just like the world in constant movement, Education itself needs to react to the changes that societies are going through. In this context, the teaching and learning of Mathematics continues to constitute a challenge, which deepens the greater the socioeconomic differences and inequalities, and whose problems include difficulties, lack of interest and student participation. It is hoped to reverse these problems with a change in teaching methodology, well-prepared, objective classes, with research and work, and concrete and manipulable materials, capable of encouraging students to actively participate in classes. In this sense, robotics is a field of study and practice that involves the design, construction, programming and operation of robots, and combines different principles, while educational robotics constitutes a specific approach to robotics, and makes use of robots as learning tools, aiming to use robots as a means of teaching science, technology, engineering and mathematics concepts, in addition to developing skills and competencies in the areas of problem solving, critical thinking, teamwork and creativity. This is research with descriptive objectives, in which the survey procedure is used. The research was carried out among high school Mathematics teachers in Rio Grande do Sul, together with teachers who received the guidance kit for teaching Robotics. Data collection took place through the use of questionnaires, and the analytical method used was Implicative Statistical Analysis (ASI). The study allowed us to infer that the teachers surveyed perceive the multiple advantages of the Mathematics teaching method using Robotics; but they also realize that investments of different natures are necessary to train and qualify them for the activity, allowing better use of the pedagogical technique, and better results in teaching that subject. |
