Resumo: This paper presents an analysis of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in science classes of the early years of elementary school, in order to verify what reasons lead teachers to choose by including these features in their planning. Participated in our survey, seventh semester of academic education course, a University in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The realization of the research involved the rescue of theoretical concepts related to ICT resources and teaching science. In the early years of elementary school, in the curricular component of science, emphasis is given to concepts related to biology, and little or no treatment to matters related to physics and chemistry. In that sense, he has been trying to offer a contribution to the teaching work of professionals of this level of education, with a proposal that addresses the Teaching of physics and some fundamental concepts of Astronomy. The proposal was made up of learning activities on initial concepts of Astronomy with the use of ICT and structured with the methodology of three teaching moments (TMP), presented by Delizoicov and Angotti (1991). Was using this methodology, because we believe in their potential and for possessing character Dialogic and fundamental. Its implementation was through educational workshops, available via a Virtual learning environment (vle), Google Sites and tool of learning objects (EO) simulation, video type, text and exercises. The analytical material, as well as three questionnaires during the workshops were the observations on the development of the same. It was found that despite the present technologies in the context of the participants, there was great difficulty in carrying out the proposed activities in workshops, for his lack of mastery of basic knowledge in data processing. It can be concluded that the work developed in this research contributed to the construction of scientific knowledge of participants about Astronomy and the use of ICT in education. The participation of the students reflected the current interest of teachers in ICT resources include in their planning while highlighted the potential exploitation of such resources limited in degree courses.
