Resumo: |
Cerebral palsy (CP) refers to a group of disorders resulting from injury or malformation of the brain during its development, which may occur in the pre, peri or postnatal period. Motor disorders are the most frequent and most recent changes in postural tone and movement direction. These motor changes can affect sensory and motor skills and the sensation of food damage. How transfers can lead to dependency on a caregiver and compromise the quality of life (QOL) of this population. The objective of the study was to add a motor function of children and adolescents with CP with deglutition, nutritional status and QOL. The date was founded by 40 individuals with CP, with a predominance of males and age between 2 and 18 years. A higher part of children and adolescents with PC was in the moderated to severe, dysphagia level and moderated, weight must weight and height, in nutritional state. The present study was performed with the aim of obtaining a higher score in the gross motor function score (GMFM) and higher level in the gross motor function classification system (GMFCS) with the degree of dysphagia. There was no association of gross motor function with body mass index (BMI) values. A QOL with the domain related to social participation and physical health has already been presented. Knowledge about these issues is important for therapeutic planning and should be performed in an interdisciplinary way so that it is able to perform an effective operation, aiming at a greater global functionality of the individual and thus having a positive impact on his QOL. |
