Resumo: Information and communication technologies (ICTs) have transformed the relationship between people and devices, which in turn are increasingly faster and more accessible. Being faced with a connected digital world, it is the responsibility on creating technology a mediating and facilitating factor in the teaching context over time. Thus, this dissertation aims to analyze the conceptions of teachers and university students about the way in which ICTs are used in undergraduate majors, in preparing future teachers for the use of technologies. The specific objectives of this research are: mapping the ICTs used by teachers and university students of the selected majors in their pedagogical practices; verifying the conceptions of teachers and university students about the use and importance of ICTs in teacher education and in the execution of classes; listing the benefits of including ICTs in teaching methodologies in learning and in the development of cognitive and technical skills of undergraduate students; making a reflection on the use of ICTs in teaching, with a view to meaningful learning in undergraduate courses. In this research, we used the qualitative approach, by using a questionnaire technique applied to students and professors of the teaching majors. The analysis technique was content analysis. The results obtained converge to the importance, application and understanding of pedagogical practices with the insertion of ICTs in the classroom, which provide the dynamics, encouragement and results for better teaching practices. The research is in agreement with the proposed objectives, as well as presenting the limitations of applying ICTs in the classroom.
