This is a qualitative approach, developed in order to answer the question: what are the contributions that the Taxicab Geometry, associated with the Problem Solving Methodology and with the use of GeoGebra software, can provide for the construction of concepts related to Analytical Geometry by students of third year of high school? The choice for such content is due to the need to establish a relationship between what is discussed in the classroom with the reality of these students. Also, in order to facilitate understanding of concepts related to Analytical Geometry, content that present on study program of this level of education. In the first chapter we have the description of the aspects that guided the research, the problem, the justification, the purpose and characteristics of the group of students participating, as well as the context in which it was done. The second chapter presents the characteristics of the research, it is qualitative, and the instruments used for data analysis, such as questionnaires and field diary. In the fourth chapter, we describe the activities and their respective analyzes. Finally, in the fifth chapter we will describe the conclusion, the contributions realized from the elaboration of the research problem.
