Resumo: Cotton meal (CM) has been used in animal feed as a substitute for soybean meal, as a means of minimizing dietary costs, considering that the protein source is one of the most expensive food costs. However, because it is less digestible than soybean meal and has a variable amount of non-starch polysaccharides, it can cause adverse effects on consumption and physiological changes in the pigs. The use of exogenous enzymes in diets aims to improve the nutritional value of cottonseed by hydrolyzing the non-starch polysaccharides that are not hydrolyzed by the digestive enzymes, thus improving nutrient utilization and providing better performance to the animals. Three trials were carried out in this set, and the first trial aimed to determine the digestibility coefficients of the CM components. In the second trial, the digestibility of the experimental diets was evaluated in the third trial, the performance and economic evaluation of the study were evaluated. The FA has high nutritional value, but with low digestible nutritional values, diet inclusion reduced the digestibility of the components, the performance of the animals was not impaired with the inclusion of FA with enzymatic complex, and there was also an improvement in feed conversion in the phase 2 of raising the animals, as the level of inclusion increased, however, the inclusion of the FA and enzyme complex in the diets is not financially viable.
