Resumo: In this Completion Work of my Master's Course in Teaching Biology, we bring a proposal for the use of some elements of 5.0 Education, which values and emphasizes the skills of students from a rural community, which, in addition to prepare them for the world of work, aims to promote their well-being. For the occurrence of a meaningful learning, it is necessary for the learner to show interest in the concepts learned. In Biology teaching, Botany content should stimulate the student's and teacher's curiosity, given its importance in our daily lives. In this context, investigative methods through active learning are didactic alternatives that involve the student using problematizations and seeking to solve problems. So, we ask ourselves: How can Basic Education Botany content be more attractive and interesting for teaching and learning? Faced with this questioning, the general objective of this work was to contribute to minimize the difficulties of Biology teachers to work with botanical concepts with their students, preparing a field guide with some native plants of the cerrado biome, which occur in the municipality of Acorizal-MT, containing Taxonomic, Morphological, Ecological, use and economic, cultural and medicinal information on ten species - Acrocomia aculeata (bocaiuva), Brosimum gaudichaudii (mamacadela), Cariocar brasiliense (pequi), Copaifera langsdorfii (pau d´oleo), Dipteryx allata (cumbaru), Handroantus impetiginosus (ipe purple), Hancornia speciosa (mangaba), Hymenaea stigonocarpa (jatobá), Myracondruon urundeuva (aroeira) and Stryphnodendron adstringens (barbatimão). The guide also brings scripts for practical investigative classes in the field, and in the laboratory, using characteristics of the plant species mentioned above as a reference. The guide's proposal is to use the local flora as a pedagogical resource, based on the skills and competences established in the National Curricular Common Base, and in the Mato Grosso Regional Curricular Document, approaching in parallel the local culture of entrepreneurship in the use of these resources in a sustainable way, hence the question that entitles the Guide: Plants of the Cerrado, what about me? To validate the guide, we had the contribution of 35 professors, 18 among them from the Pio Machado State School, and the others Biology teachers, graduated of the ProfBio professional master's course. The results showed us that the proposal is feasible, in a co-participative and interdisciplinary way, with the integration of different knowledgemen areas. The students can be more motivated and apply their knowledge in a creative way, developing companionship in their learning path.
