Associações genéticas entre escores visuais, características produtivas e reprodutivas em bovinos da raça nelore

Records were used to 231416 body weights of bovine females from the zootechnical records of Associação Brasileira de Criadores de Zebú - ABCZ, with the objective to establish, by means components technique, a linear combination of the features of Visual scores of structure (S), precocity (P) and muscularity (M) and your genetic association with the body weight at 12 months (PC12) and age at first calving (IPP). The mixed linear model included the fixed effects contemporary group and related linear and quadratic effects of cow age at calving, random genetic additive direct effects of animals, permanent environment maternal and temporary environment. Estimates of heritability for PC12, CP1 and IPP were equal to 0.51; 0.17 and 0.30, respectively. Additive genetic correlations between PC12 and CP1; PC12 and IPP, and yet, CP1 and IPP were equal to 0.48;-and-0.31 0.55; respectively. The Spearman's correlation to the best classified players compared to predictions of CP1. The correlations were positive between PC12 and CP1 and other combinations. Estimates of genetic parameters indicate possibility of significant genetic gains for PC12 and CP1 with reduction for IPP in females of the Nelore.
