Resumo: | Child with microcephaly possess abnormally small head when they are born, which include expand cerebral disorders and, as consequence, mental and motors deficits permanent. It is diagnosed by the front occipital measurement, with less than 32cm or two standard deviation under age and gender average. It may be associated with many causal factor such as the recently confirmed association with Zika Virus (ZIKV). It is understand as a chronic condition, due to the deficiencies (both physical and mental) permanents that follow, which demand a level of continuous management by the person with the condition and by the parents; proper social responses, intense relations with health care services mediated by professionals at where works, therefore, your experiences are valued in this study. The experience may is the result of many condensed experiences in particular meanings that express meaning to the person who‘s experienced, perched by material and immaterial elements. Although, a various studies about experience theme deficiencies, but no qualitative studies with an approach to the health personnel experience with microcephaly. Thus was found the health professional experience with microcephaly, seating to the meanings of this condition at the care relation that involves persons with microcephaly, their families and other professionals. It is a qualitative study of comprehensive nature, which will use semi structured interviews how collect instrument to oral reports and observation as technic to collect data, followed by thematic modality analyses. The results of this study emphasized the predominance of technical and procedural aspects that went through the meanings attributed to the concepts of microcephaly and the moments of diagnosis and treatment. However, the professional performance to microcephaly as a chronic condition enabled them to learn from the practices that were expressed in their insertions in the services and health and in the communications of their diagnosis and prognosis. |
