Resumo: | This dissertation investigates the interpretation of the coup of 1964 and the period of military governments (1964-1985) presented by the Armed Forces in the Journal of the Military Club: the house of the republic, as a historical memory. The main objective is to understand on what grounds it constitutes this memory, which interests associated with its preservation and propagation and especially how this memory relates to the way the military thinks politics in the post-dictatorship. To achieve the purpose of our research will analyze in our documentary corpus this speech at the Military Club Journal between the period 1985 to 2010 in is assigned the memory of the 1964 coup and the military dictatorship in order to identify the possible constituents axes that justify the coup; secondly we study the developments of the components of military memory - on this pages of the Military Club Journal regarding the central themes in the Brazilian political scenario of the period, including: the Amnesty Law and the Landless Workers' Movement (MST). |
