Resumo: | The main question that motivated the construction of this dissertation was the following: how can philosophy teaching become more interesting for high school students? The answer to this question gets more urgent because of the growing number of young people who would rather play mobile games than pay attention in class. Therefore, the intention was to develop an immersive game that would attract students' attention and allow them to participate in the class, without neglecting the importance of teaching and significant learning in Philosophy. As a means to explain the dominance of games in this generation, I presented a brief analysis of electronic games, board games, and airsoft. Two games are developed in this thesis: a solo RPG, known as a game book, and a tabletop RPG system, and both are allowed to be used in the classroom by teachers of different subjects. The game concept was determined based on the book Homo Ludens by Johan Huizinga, and the methodology presented is based on Fernando Savater, Renata Aspis and Silvio Gallo. |
