Resumo: The purpose of this dissertation was to analyze the political representation of women in the National Congress in the 2015-2019 and 2019-2023 terms, using legislative proposals as a parameter. Drawing from theoretical-political references, we sought to understand the historical context of women's relationship with politics, especially concerning their representation and measures to increase participation, such as quota and gender parity policies, outlining important aspects of this scenario, including violence, gender politics, and campaign financing, and how these issues directly impact women's lives. Based on this initial investigation, we proposed an analysis and mapping of legislation focused on women's interests, identifying the quantity and quality of regulations created by female parliamentarians aimed at women's interests, which were graphically and categorically organized. Thus, the results indicate low female participation in politics, although with significant and gradual growth, indicating some effectiveness of quota and gender parity policies, despite some areas that need improvement. Regarding legislation aimed at women, it still appears to be very limited, mainly addressing more immediate but important aspects, such as security, and often legislated by very specific women's groups. The low approval of proposals is also a notable point, which, combined with all the aforementioned, highlights the fragile position of women in political spaces, necessitating the strengthening of public policies related to this theme.
