Resumo: The beginning of the twentieth century was marked by a social transformation generated by the phenomenon of industrialisation and of science. As a result of this process, the education appears as an instrument of development. The study has as goal, to check the manifestation of the New School in Brazil and Argentina, in primary schools financed by the State, in the period between 1930 and 1950, having as central focus, the regions of Mato Grosso, Brazil, and Santa Fe, Argentina. The schools elected were two state schools: 1ª masculine and feminine urban school, in Mato Grosso, and Dr. Gabriel Carrasco, in Santa Fe. The choice by the schools was the presence of signs escolanovistas indicated by research already carried out in these schools. The analysis of the study was made, from documentary data between: regulations, laws, messages, reports, documents and educational journals. The study it was divided in two parts, in which first, the composed one for the first chapter, discovery it the conformation of the ideas of the New Education and its occured materialize way of appropriation through manifestation inside of the social panorama of Brazil and Argentina. The second part of the study, composition for as and the third chapter, inside portraies and identifies the appropriations of the principles of pedagogical practical the New School of the legislation and the occured ones in the elect schools, in the period of its functioning. The state school of Diamantino was presented, amongst its practical pedagogical, how much to the fulfilment of the legislation of the primary instruction of Mato Grosso of 1927, in accordance with its possibilities of the local resources, as much to the human level, how much physicist, following the escolanovista movement that was occurring from years 20 in the Brazilian states. The Dr. school Gabriel Carrasco, in Rosary, in Argentina, was a distinguishing school for the period of years 30, therefore, national, the legislation presented a come back pedagogical ideário to the traditional pedagogia, pautado in Law 1.420 of Common Educación. Over all in years 20, in Santa Fe, with Molinas, under the position of management of the Province, it was propitiated opening of this experimental school, that came to be recommended as school model in Argentina, which had to the dedicated work directed for Olga Cossettini in the application of the idea of Active School of Giuseppe Lombardo Radice.
