Concepções de estudantes da EJA sobre a Serra do Patrimônio/Pontes e Lacerda-MT : saberes necessários à conservação ambiental

Resumo: The importance of having conserved places goes beyond keeping fauna and flora intact, but it is configured in the protecting ecosystems value, in local and planetary life. The natural environments maintenance is about how the population relates and interacts with these spaces, such as your home, your territory, your backyard. The research general objective was to develop an investigative didactic sequence with a view to Serra do Patrimônio environmental conservation in Pontes e Lacerda-MT. This place, in addition to its ecological function, also serves as a space for walking and leisure, however, for this environment to be preserved, it also depends on the relationship with the residents, how they perceive and understand it makes them take care of it or not. The methodology had the character of qualitative research, participatory-action research and the data collection instrument was an input and output questionnaire applied to participants, high school students at the Youth and Adult Education Center, with the intention of identifying environmental conceptions about the place chosen for study. The results obtained from the students participation in the investigative didactic sequence were very positive, it can be observed the interaction between the colleagues, the awakening to responsibility, the sharing of experiences, respect for others, commitment during the field class and this was very important throughout the educational process. In the comparison between the initial and final questionnaires, it was possible to observe that there were changes in the conceptions, being quite significant for the research. We hope that students will multiply these values by families, friends and all the people with whom, in one way or another, they have contact. Therefore, it is hoped that this work can contribute with new researches and new knowledges.
