Resumo: | Aging is a process marked by constant transformations, which comprises from birth to death, composed of several phases, including old age. It is a period of negative aspects, not only because of the psychological and biological wear, as the tendency to isolation and chronic conditions, including Diabetes. In addition, it is a stage where you can resume the previously abandoned projects and, above all, by the availability of time to perform pleasurable activities and great socialization among people inter and intrageracionais. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the experience of a group of seniors with diabetes, residing in Rondonopolis-MT. Was used in qualitative research methodology, with interviews through Semistructured, with 10 roadmap seniors who live with Diabetes, seven women and three men who are part of a group of seniors. A literature review was conducted through specialized search sites and also books on the theoretical foundation of experiences to enhance search. It was noted among the respondents that the Diabetes was one of the diseases reported, however the presence of other concomitant diseases was also found. It is concluded that the elderly have knowledge that should coexist with the condition of Diabetes for every day life, but other than suffering, and yes, approach it with responsibility so that it has a harmonious and happy life, with autonomy in the context of ageing, as the ageing process is heterogeneous to each person. |
