Resumo: | This research aims to analyze the presence and participation of women in the narratives of History textbooks for High School, as well as how they are represented in them from the perspectives of the concept of representation proposed by Roger Chartier (1990) and Sandra Jatahy Pesavento (2012). It also intends to promote reflection and debate in the classroom about representations, those represented, the intentionalities of the processes of construction of the social imaginary, the questioning and denaturalization of these frameworks of social spaces so deeply rooted in the collective imagination. A reflection anchored in female non-protagonism, but whose understanding will allow high school teachers and students a broad connection with the demands of other groups silenced by traditional narratives. The methodological strategies were bibliographical research and documentary research. The bibliographical research was developed based on already prepared material, mainly made up of books and scientific articles (Gil, 2002) and the sources analyzed were the History booklets of the Structured Education System for High School, Maxi Education System, Fundação Getúlio Vargas, SEDUC – MT, 2023. The final product of the research was the creation of a paradidactic material entitled Infamous Women – the stories they didn't tell you, presenting some women erased and made invisible in the narratives of textbooks and in History itself. |
