Resumo: | This initiation stage of the collective sporting games is a period that spans from the when children start in sports until the decision to practice a mode. This study aims to identify the level of coordination performance motor, motor development, perception of competence and the ability to play after a program of 17 classroom sessions, using the Methods Universal Sport Initiation (USI) and Ball School (BS). In addition, determining the consistency of the application of the methods of education in relation to the structural complexity of activities and tasks in the classroom sessions, analyze the performance of motor development, motor coordination, the perception of competence and ability to play, considering the time and sex effect, check the impact of motor coordination, motor development and capacity in both groups and analyze the chance of change in the classification of motor coordination and development engine in both groups. Participated in the study 40 school students with age range 7 to 9 years of age (7.85 ± 0.48) divided equally in experimental group (EG) and control group (CG). After the intervention there was significant improvement EG in the motor coordination variable in all tasks, with p value ranging from 0, 039 to 0,000, and effect size (ES) great, except SE medium for the task transposition (0,463). For the motor development variable, EG has significantly improved on all scores with p value 0,000, and SE great from 0,812. In the playing capacity the results pointed it improves statically of EG in all actions for the items with the hand member, as for the items with the foot member, with p value of 0,001 and ES great, the from 0,775. As the perception of competence was realized that the classroom sessions did not they were able to provoke changes in the perceptions that the subjects had of themselves. In coordination the results of the chance to change the motor quocient's classification EG was 4,12 higher than the CG and the motor development was greater than the CG, the making it possible to infer that the methods (USI + SB) applied in intervention were able to produce learning effects. It is then expected, with this work, contribute to the range of studies in the area of the teaching methodology of sport, especially for methodologies focused on teaching beginners. |
