In this study was considered the illness and death by cancer on youth in which the situation of the family becomes more complex. Objective: understand the family experience to watch the young man with leukemia outside the possibilities of cure. The context of life considered in this study is the experienced by the family of Star, twenty years diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, outside of the therapeutic possibilities of cure. The thorough reading of the research journal allowed the classification of narratives in three themes: Experience of the chronic illness for young cancer and the constellation of care woven by the family: The Allegory of the constellation we understand the (re) family organization through the movement and the care that generates family togetherness around the Young; Spirituality as a way of life and coping strategy of illness and finitude, where spirituality and religiosity arise as a way of life and reaffirming front of illness and finitude; Death as natural event: young's experience with cancer: Understanding the experience of death and dying of young man with cancer, has shown that this process can be perceived as something that generates personal growth by providing an invaluable wealth of learning.
