Some theorists taken to understanding of the topic, in particular addressing the training of teachers and seek to understand the concept of professional development aid in the composition of the work. This need for understanding is based on the authors and researchers as Nóvoa (1995), Marcelo Garcia (1999), Moreira (2010), Monteiro (2003), among others, which have vast production on the subject, and this research provides interpretive possibilities in relation to the coordinator. The qualitative research was developed on data collected in the analysis of documents, interviews, oral narratives, written narratives and observation in locus. Interviews, oral and written narratives were used in the search for value the subjects inserted in the research process, strengthening the effort to better know and understand the theories outlined by scholars and processes that involve the construction of professional development, which subsidizes discussions presented here. Participated in the survey, eight subjects, working in coordination, belonging to the Adventist Educational Network, confessional, headquartered in the state of Tocantins in five different towns. The analysis indicated that there are recurrent themes among the coordinators surveyed, which subsidize the creation of their practice, such as previous experiences to the initial training, being a teacher as a base and support for the coordinator to be the confessional influence in personal, and professional life the importance of collective work, highlighting the need to imbue efforts to expand studies in relation to the coordinator, especially when considering the scarcity of productions available on it, and this little explored ahead of its important role in dimension school, it is certainly necessary to expand horizons through new research.
