Resumo: | Looking for energy alternative sources, especially biomass, this study aimed verify the potentiality and heterogeneity of forest residues (leaves, fruits, barks, flowers and woody material remainder) as source of energetic resource in AmazonicFlorest for energy production. The study was conducted at reservoir area corresponding to future dam of Sinop Hydroelectric Station (UHE-Sinop), Teles Pires River, Mato Grosso State, Brazil. Some days after vegetal suppression, it were collected 100 samples of forest residues on the soil, through samples with 10 cm2 of area (10 x 10 cm) randomly distributed at reservoir total area. Subsequently, the residues were forwarded for analysis of gross calorific value (GCV), elementary analysis (levels of carbon, hydrogen, oxygen and ashes) and chemical analysis (levels of lignin, extractives and holocellulose). The evaluated samples results showed GCV medium value of 5.138,43 kcal kg-1 . From database, it were performed a spatial analysis that generated calorific value classes distribution map and maps of elementary and chemical components, which helped at decision taking as to feasibility of residues use from forest exploration. |
