Conventionally the public policies related to logistics infrastructure are treated dissociated from the reality of agricultural productive systems. In addition, the logistic has essential elements for governance and coordination of supply chains, which handle the productive chains. In the globalized economies the productivity and competitiveness are given by the efficiency of goods and services; in practice the global consumers look for speed, accessibility and accuracy in their business transactions. In this perspective, this study presents discussions about the problems in sunflower supply chain management in the municipality of Campo Novo do Parecis MT, in 2013/2014 harvest; once the city is the main national grain producer. The study permeates aspects related to costs and coordination of the supply chain, describing the flow between the various agents, partners, that compose the supply network. The method discussed was the inductive and deductive, exploratory and descriptive research from the literature, with application of a questionnaire previously elaborated and direct interview with producers
