Resumo: Some obstacles in the pedagogical practice of teaching and learning in physics are created due to the lack of professionals in the field, the absence of experimental practice and the dependence on textbooks, generating a lack of interest and motivation among students and professionals. With the advancement of technology, some teachers are increasingly seeking technological knowledge so that pedagogical practice becomes more significant in the teaching process. Virtual simulators play an important role in education and in carrying out experiments in various areas of knowledge, turning a real environment into a virtual one, they offer a series of significant advantages for students and teachers. Therefore, the choice of the theme of this work refers to the physics content applied to GPS, which covers several topics, mainly about electromagnetism and relativity, the teacher must carry out his classes, in order to promote his practice, allowing the student to be able to learn actively. The main objective of this work is to produce a didactic sequence so that students in the 3rd year of high school understand the importance of physics for the functioning of the Global Positioning System (GPS), aiming to facilitate the learning process of the physical fundamentals involved in the functioning of GPS. The application of the product was carried out in a total of 12 classes divided into 8 days, with the main concern being to promote an accessible teaching methodology, used capable of providing better learning through online activities and resources. In this sense, the methodology used and the criteria chosen to apply the didactic sequence of the educational product was to provide a better understanding of all steps and concepts related to GPS. After applying the product, it was possible to realize the importance of working on the theoretical part with virtual activities, and achieving good results.
