Resumo: With the role of the human being increasingly clear in the equation that governs the planet, the environment has become an increasingly frequent target in discussions, becoming the agenda of the main studies related to anthropic action. With the large increase in the number of fire foci characteristic of dry periods, monitoring the effect of gases and aerosols emitted by fires became increasingly important. The Research Group on Physics and Environment has been monitoring the Flow of Energy and Matter since 2012 in the Baia das Pedras region, located within the SESC Pantanal Private Natural Heritage Reserve, and in 2020 in the urban region of Sinop, on the campus of the Federal University of Mato Grosso. These data are important for understanding the dynamics of aerosol effects not only on the local ecosystem, but also globally. The objective of this work was to implement a climate data monitoring system, thus it was proposed the development of a Python-based system, using MySQL and Grafana database as user interaction interface. The fire risk index known as Formula de Monte Alegre was also evaluated in comparison with the fire outbreaks in the region. The system showed stability during almost 3 years of operation, some modifications were made during this period and the Monte Alegre Formula proved to be a good fire risk index to be applied to the Pantanal and region.
