Resumo: | Relief forms derive from procedural action over time, which can be reconstructed through evidence closely linked to past events linked to morphogenetic mechanisms. Studies about sandization point to the outbreak of this process in areas with Quartzarenic Neossols, in which the remobilization of sandstone material is highly susceptible to erosive processes. Thus, we seek in the methodological bases in the Geosystemic Theory to understand the sanding process through the analysis of morphodynamic attributes considering surface stability to identify and map the areas susceptible to the occurrence of these processes. The Córrego da Fortaleza watershed (BHCF) located at northeastern sector of the municipality of Jaciara-MT, located on the morphostructure of the Paraná Sedimentary Basin, in the contact area of two morphospultural units: Planalto dos Guimarães and Depressão Interplanáltica de Rondonópolis. The analysis and synthesis of the dynamics of the morphometric characteristics identified by the research, supported the geomorphological compartmentalization of the watershed, contributing to the understanding of the evolution of the forms and their behavior in relation to environments susceptible to sandization. The research results led to define two environments of the surface dynamics where the sanding processes occur, namely: (I) Denudational Systems, which occur under the eroded Surface and (II) Pleasant Systems, allied to the surfaces of the Colluvial Ramps. The comprehension of the landscape from the interrelationship of the morphometric attributes that allowed to indicate the areas with greater susceptibility to the sanding processes, resulted in the methodological proposal to investigate these fragile areas, which can be applied in any area, with their appropriate adaptations and adaptations considering the regional individualities of each landscape unit. |
