The variables that presented a significance level (p-value) equal to or less than 0.20 in the bivariate analysis were included in the hierarchical logistic regression model in blocks. There was an association between teenage pregnancy and per capita income less than or equal to a minimum wage; nine years or less of study; not working regularly; not be married / united; companion also adolescent; have married / joined with 15 years or less.
